Visiting La Mare Wine Estate

A visit to the La Mare Wine Estate is highly recommended, whether you are just visiting Jersey or call it home.

Offering several tours and tasting experiences, visitors will quickly learn that there is so much more than just wine on offer at La Mare Wine Estate! Chocolate, fudge, biscuits and butter are all produced here, with guests able to get a behind-the-scenes look at how it is all produced, as well as sampling it along the way!

Tours are available 7 days per week, with several time slots each day.

Events At La Mare Wine Estate

Visitors to La Mare Wine Estate are able to explore the vast expanse of vines, as well as relaxing in the Vineyard Cafe to enjoy a traditional Jersey Cream Tea, or some of the award-winning wine.

Being such a picturesque setting, the estate is often booked for private events, with many couples choosing to exchange their nuptials here and enjoy their special day in their own piece of paradise. It is also possible to host corporate meetings and events here, leaving a lasting impression on the attendees.

The on-site shop gives visitors the opportunity to leave with some of the fine produce of the La Mare Estate, whether that be the butter, the sweet treats or their favourite tipple!

How To Get To La Mare Wine Estate

La Mare Wine Estate is located approximately 10 kilometres away from The Old Court House Inn and will take around 15 minutes to reach by car.

Head north-west on Le Boulevard towards Le Quai Bisson and continue onto Le Boulevard. Turn right onto La Neuve Route (A1) and then take the 2nd exit at the roundabout onto La Route de la Haule (A1), before taking a slight left onto La Vallee de Saint-Pierre (A11).

Continue onto Route de la Vallee which merges onto Rue de la Rosiere and then turn right onto La Verte Rue. Take a slight left onto La Grande Rue before turning left onto La Rue de la Hougue Mauger and you will find La Mare Wine Estate on your right.

The Old Court House Inn

The Old Court House Inn is a stunning traditional pub with rooms, with history dating back to the 15th century.
