The Liberation Brewery has partnered with Jersey’s new online Lotto to produce a winning ale.
‘Winners Ale’ celebrates the launch of Islands Lotto, which gives Islanders the chance to win £100,000 every month through its Jackpot 6 draw and up to £75,000 on it’s Instant Win games, while at the same time raising funds for local good causes.
Winners Ale has been specifically produced to support the launch of Islands Lotto and is now on sale at selected Liberation Group pubs and other venues around the Island, including the popular haunt for Real Ale aficionados, The Lamplighter in Mulcaster Street, as well as favourite country pubs such as the St Laurent and the St Mary’s Country Inn.
The beer is a 3.9% ABV dark tawny ale with a rich, malty flavour that has a honey/caramel note on the palate, leading to a spicy finish derived from the careful mix of English and New Zealand hops.
Paul Hurley, Head Brewer at Liberation Brewery said, “This is a fabulous celebration beer and we know our customers are going to enjoy trying it. And if they win with Islands Lotto it’s the perfect pint (or two) to celebrate with”.
Jason Stratford of Islands Lotto said, “It’s been great fun working with Liberation Brewery to produce Winners Ale. Since we launched Islands Lotto in March over 8,500 prizes have been won on the Jackpot 6 draw and our Instant Win games, and this beer is another winner thanks to the team at the brewery”.
Winners Ale will be available for an initial short period of time only, but may reappear later in the year.
