Attractions

Situated a stones throw away from Guernsey Airport, The Deerhound is close to many of Guernsey’s attractions.

Nothing is far away in Guernsey so why not check out the German occupation Museum  or the German Underground Hospital, which is made up of 1km of underground tunnels built during the war previously used for hospital wards, operating theatres and storage space, or if you hare a creative type pop down to Art Park, Guernsey’s Sculpture Park which is behind Sausmarez Manor and worth visiting for the different Sculptures in a natural setting.

The Sculpture Park was founded in 1998 with the help of John Mills the President of the Royal Society of British Sculpture. There are over 100 pieces of sculpture, by over 50 different international sculptors which you can also purchase.

Or if you have children to entertain, pop into Outlands Village to tire them out on the soft play area whilst doing a little shopping.  This is a really quaint little shopping village, with an 18 hole crazy golf course. It has a beautiful thatched roof on one of the buildings and no two shops the same. There is a Craft shop, silver/copper smith shop, gift shop, aquarium shop, jewellery shop and cafe/restaurant.

Or perhaps a spot of Crazy Golf at Guernsey Pirate Bay crazy golf course.

Not to mention all of Guernseys beautiful beaches!   Then, when you are tired and hungry, come back to the Deerhound as we will be waiting to serve you some delicious food and award-winning ales or a range of other refreshments to revive you.

Enjoy your time in Guernsey
