Our food ethos is simple; source quality seasonal produce that’s sustainable, traceable and local, and create consistent and innovative menus, offering great value food that exceeds expectation.
We want to know where every ingredient has come from. We want to buy fish from British waters, and support local and UK farmers and producers, cooking as much of their hard work and passion as possible. We want to treat ingredients with the respect they deserve, and do our bit to reduce food waste through the skill of our chefs and training. We love to cook with our own beers and pair them with food – something you’ll see throughout our menus.
This all sounds wonderful, but our kitchens remain humble, always looking to improve where we can and striving to serve the best pub food in our local areas. We’re delighted and proud to have been awarded ‘Best Food Offer’ in 2019 and 2020, and most recently to have been awarded ‘Best Managed Pub Company’ of 2021 at The Publican Awards. A huge testament to the hard work and talent of both our kitchen and front of house teams.
