The view defines the Auberge, where you can gaze out across the sea to the neighbouring Channel Islands from either the indoor contemporary styled areas, with full-height glazing which frames the scene, or in the warmer months sit outside on the terrace or the lawn. Either way you won’t be disappointed.
The view is not the only reason to visit: the kitchen team led by Head Chef Karl Ginnever offers passionately cooked modern cuisine, with a focus on seasonal, good quality local produce. Under Karl’s watchful eye the restaurant boasts a two rosette rating with the AA, is Michelin Guide recommended and is listed in the Good Food Guide. To complement the food, classic cocktails and a good range of premium spirits are on offer, together with a comprehensive wine list which offers some very good wines at solid value for money prices.
The restaurant is ideal for business lunches and catching up with friends and family and, of course, offers the perfect surroundings for a romantic candlelit dinner. Whatever the occasion, you’ll find a relaxed informality, coupled with friendly and efficient service.
