New Face of Liberation Group Online

01 January 2012

The Liberation Group has launched a new look website that will bring together news and information about all of the group’s businesses and activities in one, simpler to navigate portal.

The site, www.liberationgroup.com  has been designed and built by local company Switch Apps and will enable the Liberation Group team to keep customers up to date with the latest news, offers and promotions.

The Liberation Group runs 69 pubs, bars and eateries across the Channel Islands and owns the award-winning Liberation Brewery based at Longueville in Jersey. The Group also includes the wholesale and retail outlets Victor Hugo Limited in Jersey and Bucktrouts in Guernsey.

The new site has been redesigned from the ground up so that users can easily find out about Liberation Group, its beers, venues, events and special offers. Phase 1 of the project went live on January 1st 2012 and Phase 2 will see the addition of e-commerce functionality for the Victor Hugo and Bucktrouts outlets.

The project has been spearheaded by Liberation Group Marketing Executive, Jo Reed who said: ‘We have wanted to bring all of our brands together, in one style and in one place, for some time. The site is the result of months of planning and hard work. At Liberation Group we are all about first class customer service. With this site we are now able to deliver the same level of service and interaction with those customers who visit us online, as those who go into one of our pubs, bars or eateries.’

As well as information about the Group and its various businesses, visitors to the site can find out more about the people who make Liberation Group such a success, the awards the company has won and about new products.

For those people who want to be kept up to date with news on the go, there are links to all of the Group’s ‘taste2day’ social media platforms, which also give customers an opportunity to invite friends to Liberation Group events and promotions and share feedback on their Liberation Group experiences, from award-winning ales to the finest pub food.

‘We want our customers to tell us what they think of our products and services’, said Jo Reed. ‘That’s the best way that we can keep an eye on how we are doing and constantly improve. We have offered all this before but now it is in one, online community and, with other exciting initiatives coming soon, we can make sure people are kept up to date.’
