Liberation Brewery is celebrating its success in the Brewing Business Awards announced this week by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA).
Liberation Brewery won the Best Marketing Launch Award for its campaign to promote its full range of locally-brewed Ales.
Awards judges praised Liberation Brewery for its achievement. SIBA chief executive Julian Grocock said, "The number and standard of entries to our Brewing Business Awards has grown every year since they were launched in 2006, reflecting the growing professionalism and business flair of our members.
He added, "Especially impressive was the long-term planning and vision shown by Liberation Brewery, who are clearly building a sustainable business for future generations, not just for short-term gain. The company should be very proud of its win.”
Liberation Group Chief Executive Mark Crowther said, "We work hard on our products and just as hard on making sure we promote them effectively and in line with our brand ethics. It’s gratifying to win this recognition from our industry experts and peers. We’re grateful to everyone locally who has helped our business succeed: the employees who brew and distribute our beers, the pubs and shops who sell them and the many loyal customers who drink them."
The Awards was presented by Peter Fawcett of sponsors Pilsner Urquell.
