Beer connoisseurs are being treated to a new cask ale from Liberation Brewery. Ambree has been brewed in line with the current renaissance in local craft brewing and will be on sale for the next three months.
Ambree was first released last year and sold very well and this year’s recipe has been developed using hops imported from America, including Amarillo and small amounts of a new variety, Chinook.
Ambree is the first of Liberation Brewery's seasonal ales to be launched this year and it went down well at the recent Liberation Group Trade Fairs in Jersey and Guernsey.
Head brewer Paul Hurley said: "Ambree is a great ale to launch our seasonal cask beers. It has a full, malty taste and compliments our multi-award winning Liberation Ale. This is our 140th Anniversary Year and we want to give our customers something to really cheer about. As well as Ambree we will be releasing Blonde in the summer, Rouge and Noire as well as a special commemorative brew to celebrate our birthday".
