Winner of Bronze at the International Brewing Awards '13

Liberation 140, brewed especially to celebrate Liberation Brewery's 140 years of brewing in the Channel Islands. Only a limited number of special presentation bottles were produced and the judges awarded it a Bronze in the Dark Beer category.

Winner of Gold at The International Brewing Industry Awards '13

Liberation Ale is winner of the Gold Medal in the International Cask Ale category, for the second consecutive year. Only Gold medal winners are selected to be considered by the eminent panel of judges to be named Champion Beer in its category, which will be announced at a gala event at London's Guildhall in April.

Liberation Ale is sold across the Channel Islands and is exported through selected pub chains in Britain, including JD Wetherspoon and Mitchell and Butler inns. The judges once again picked it out from tough competition to be awarded the Gold medal in the Cask Ale 3.9% to 4.3% ABV class of the International Cask Ale category.

Winner Beer Champion at British Beer & Pub Awards '12

It is the first time the accolade has been awarded and Liberation Group was chosen over heavyweight industry competitors including Heineken UK, Thwaites and Carlsberg UK. In its submission Liberation Group described how it has encouraged Channel Island drinkers to appreciate beer again, through its extensive range of ales produced at the Liberation Brewery in Jersey.

In the Beer Champion category the judges were looking for companies that have successfully used their resources to advertise, innovate and celebrate beer, and in their assessments considered the standard of promotional material, social responsibility, environmental awareness and commercial innovation.

Liberation Group was also a finalist in the Pub Champion category.

1* Gold Great Taste 12'

We've been awarded a 1* gold at the Great Taste Awards this year.
Great Taste is the largest and most trusted accreditation scheme for speciality and fine food & drink. Established in 1994, it encourages and mentors artisan food producers, offering a unique benchmarking and product evaluation service leading to an independent accreditation that enables small food and drink businesses to compete against supermarket premium own label brands.

The International Beer Challenge Design & Packaging '12

We picked up a Bronze National Honours at the International Beer Challenge, which is a prestigious event for our bottled limited edition beer 'Liberation 140' Ale, brewed to celebrate our 140th anniversary last year. The standard of beers entered in the design and packaging competition was very high and the judging panel were very impressed overall.

Finalist at the Catey Awards '12

We have been named one of the best pub companies in the British Isles by Caterer and Hotelkeeper Magazine, by being shortlisted in the Pub and Bar Award at the Cateys, acknowledged as the leading awards for the hospitality industry and ‘the one to get’.

Overall winner in the category was the Peach Pub Company, a small niche pubs, restaurant and accommodation business with 15 properties, mainly in the Midlands and Home Counties.

Jersey Enterprise Awards Winner of Credit Suisse Large Business Award & JT Business of the Year Award '12

We are delighted to have won the Large Business award and the Business of the Year award at this years Jersey Enterprise Awards. It proves that a traditional business which is out of favour in many parts of the Mainland can be transformed with the right leadership focus and investment in people, customers and product.

Regional Winner Great British Pub Awards '11

We were runner up at The Great British Pub Awards in the Best Turnaround Pub category for Friday's in Jersey's amazing transformation into the Halkett Pub and Eating House, in Jersey.

Winner of The CIM PR Award '11

CIM Jersey Best Use of PR award for our campaign 'Raising the Bar', we showed the integrated use of public relations techniques, to achieve our objectives.

Highly Commended Publican Awards '11

We received Highly Commended at the Publican Awards 2011. In 2010 we were also a finalist. This is something we are very proud of as it is established as the biggest event in the pub industry’s calendar (they know how to throw a party!)

The International Beer Challenge '11

Mary Ann Best is winner of the Gold Medal in the International Dark Beer category, for brews between 2.9% and 3.7% alcohol volume. The International Brewing Industry Awards are the 'Oscars' of the brewing Industry.

Famous Grouse Famous Pub Competition '10

We entered a competition by the Daily Telegraph and sponsored by Famous Grouse
to find the 100 most famous pubs in Britain. We worked hard to make our submission stand out from
thousands of pubs entering from the UK and Ireland. The Peirson Pub Jersey was successful in being voted
onto the list, generating further national and local coverage.

SIBA Brewing Business Awards '10

Winner of Best Marketing Launch, showing the brand development for the brewery and our seasonal ale launches.

Winner of The CIM Best Brand and Marketing Excellence Awards '09

We won the Best Brand award for our submission which showed the brand development for our flagship beer Liberation Ale. We then went on to win the Marketing Excellence award which represents the best example of marketing excellence from that year's award entries.

Champion Beer at the CAMRA Jersey Beer Festival '09

We won Champion Beer at the CAMRA Jersey Beer Festival 2009, against ales from all over the World. Nothing beats a pint of your locale!
