Liberation Group Talks & Tours

Ladies Tasting Guide

We want to encoutange ladies to swap their usual glass of wine or gin and tonic for a glass of local, award winning real ale.

We have produced a tasting guide with lots of useful information on it. Did you know that beer has less calories than wine measure for measure?

Beer is full of natural ingredients creating some fantastic aromas and flavours making it the perfect partner to different foods.

If you would like to arrange a tasting night at one of our great pubs, bars or eateries then please email Jo on joanna.reed@liberationgroup.com

The Ale Trail

Walking routes to build a thirst. We have produced a Jersey walking guide, taking in local landmarks and pubs along the way. Wander country lanes; test your stamina on coastal paths or criss-cross the town centre pausing for refreshment on route!

Each route starts and ends at a pub, so grab some lunch or dinner and reward yourself with a pint of our local ale. You are welcome to leave your vehicle in the car parks. The pubs feautured are: Cock and Bottle, Post Horn and Town House in St Helier; St Mary's Country Inn; Trinity Arms; Victoria in the Valley, St Peter; Rozel Bar and Restaurant and Le Hocq Inn on St Clement's Coast Road.

A TOUR AROUND OUR BREWERY

If you are visiting Jersey, tours of the Liberation Brewery can be arranged by advance request.*  To see how the regional beers of the Channel Islands are brewed and to meet the people who brew them, ask any questions or simply soak up the atmosphere email us at info@liberationbrewery.com

We love what we do, and we are sure that you will too.

*It is important to note that this is a working brewery, it is a 'split level' brewery.  This means that there are steep stairways and some narrow walkways. People with mobility difficulties should be aware of this.  Due to health and safety reasons we cannot include children under 10 years of age into the brewery.

Guided tours last up to 90 minutes, including beer tasting at The Brewery Bar.

PROUD OF BRITISH BEER

"Proud of British Beer" is a short film produced by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA).

It features brewers, both large and small, hop and barley growers, maltsters and industry suppliers. Our concerns are that the continued above inflation increases in beer duty are destroying this indigenous British industry. Pubs, which are an integral part of the fabric of British society are also being forced to close at the rate of 29 per week. This cannot be allowed to continue. We are proud of British beer. Are you?
