The group has now changed beyond recognition, with Bucktrouts purchasing many other companies on the way namely The Guernsey Brewery Co Ltd, Alfred Shepherd Ltd & Mackay and Co Ltd. At one stage Bucktrouts used to bottle their own spirits up until a few years ago and in the early 50's and 60's were able to bottle chateau wines.
In July 2008 Bucktrouts along with its sister company in Jersey Victor Hugo Company Limited and pub estate of 65 outlets was part of a management buy out headed by Mark Crowther (CEO) to form The Liberation Group.
The Distribution Centre at Hougue Jehannet was purposely built in 1995 to supply all goods to the on and off trade throughout the bailiwick of Guernsey. It is 2560 square metres with over 1,000 pallet stowage bins and nearly 400 pallet picking spaces, in addition to this it has high level picking bins and dedicated storage areas for tobacco, kegs and point of sale material.

Our fleet of up to date vehicles (10) deliver 5 days a week to our customer base ensuring continuity of supply which is paramount being based off the uk mainland. We also distribute to the other Islands within the bailiwick of Guernsey (Herm & Sark) and also have a distribution centre in Alderney to take care of their local requirements.
